Contact the Ethics Helpline to report a potential ethics or compliance violation, or use it as a valuable resource to ask a question or request assistance regarding an ethical dilemma, even if you don't consider it as serious as a potential violation.

When should I turn to the Ethics Helpline?
You should turn to the Ethics Helpline in the following circumstances:
            • If you believe that ethics and compliance issues are not being resolved, either through the existing managerial chain of command or other reporting options;
            • If you don't feel comfortable reporting through normal channels;
            • If you'd like assistance on ethics and compliance issues; or
            • If you wish to remain anonymous in submitting a report.

What type of issues should be reported?
Potential violations of the law, regulations, professional standards, policy, or the applicable Code of Conduct that you believe are not being handled properly should be reported immediately. Such potential violations could include, but are not limited to:
             • Non-compliance with professional standards              • Inappropriate gifts and entertainment
             • Discrimination                                                                            • Inappropriate political activities and contributions
             • Harassment                                                                                 • Insider trading or other securities law violations
             • Workplace violence                                                                  • Theft

How do I report a potential violation using the Web site?

            2. Select the appropriate form. Are you seeking Advice or reporting a Concern?
            3. Complete the appropriate form by answering the questions and submit your report
            4. Make note of your Case ID Number and create password

Continued follow-up on a matter is particularly important for all reports submitted anonymously, where we have no other means to communicate with you, the reporter. If you have identified yourself by name, your local ethics officer will contact you directly to discuss your concern and ask any additional questions we may have.

How does the Ethics Helpline work?
BAE Systems has contracted with Ospreyto administer the Ethics Helpline. Because the Ethics Helpline is administered by a third-party vendor, we can provide our employeesa confidential tool with 24-hour access and, if requested, anonymous report submissions. The Ethics Helpline's Web site is hosted on Osprey’s servers and the phone numbers are operated by AnswerNet. A reporter's identity cannot be revealed through telephone or internet records.

What happens when I call the Ethics Helpline phone number?
The Ethics Helpline is administered by a third party, AnswerNet. When you place a call to the Ethics Helpline, the AnswerNet call center specialist will capture your inquiry or report, asking you to provide detailed information. You may choose to remain anonymous when speaking with the call center specialist; however, doing so may limit a full investigation of the matter. Therefore, you are encouraged to identify yourself. You should also be prepared, if you are willing, to provide the names of witnesses and potential victims of the alleged unethical conduct to increase the success of an investigation into your complaint. While inquiries and reports may be submitted anonymously, we cannot guarantee confidentiality or anonymity as the nature of the issue and/or related case details may reveal the identities of those involved. The specialist forwards your inquiry or report to the BAE Systems ethics office, led by the Chief Ethics Officer.

The AnswerNet call center specialist cannot provide you advice or resolve your issue over the phone. The call center specialist will provide you with a Case ID Number and ask you to create password for you to “View or update an existing inquiry” section found on the Ethics Helpline Web site, and check the status or resolution of the matter you reported within three business days. Please check back with the Ethics Helpline to:
             • Check the accuracy of the report; and/or
             • Review and comment on any follow-up information the company may need to process your inquiry/concern.

When you log on, a series of prompts will instruct you how to accomplish your task. When filing a report, you will be asked to provide the most detailed information possible about the incident. You may choose to submit an inquiry or report anonymously; however, doing so may limit a full investigation of the matter. Therefore, you are encouraged to identify yourself. Your inquiry or report will be logged and forwarded to the ethics office at BAE Systems, Inc. led by the Chief Ethics Officer, for resolution. The Ethics Helpline cannot provide you advice or resolve your issue directly.

When submitting your inquiry or report, you will be given a Case ID Number and asked to create a personal password. You will need this information to access the "View or update an existing inquiry" section on the Web site to check the status or resolution of the matter you reported. What should I do if I lose my report key or password?
Because of the secured access necessary for maintaining the reports, if you lose your report key or password, you will be required to file a new report. You should mention - in the new report - that this matter relates to a prior report.
