What is the Code of Conduct?
The Code of Conduct is divided into three primary parts, making it easy to navigate and easy to use:
• Our Responsibilities Under the Code - this section articulates BAE Systems' commitment to ethical business conduct, explains our ethical
principles, and provides context for our code.
• Our Workplace Responsibilities - this section focuses on our duties to each other. It covers such topics as inclusive behavior, gifts and
entertainment, recording of time, use of company assets, working with classified or confidential information, and conflicts of interests.
• Our Business Responsibilities - this section focuses on our duties to the world outside of BAE Systems. It covers topics like product
safety, working with advisers, contract negotiations, facilitation payments, company giving, insider trading, political activities, and export concerns.
Our Code of Conduct does not attempt to address every potential ethical dilemma, nor does it reference a policy or a law for every conceivable problem. Our Code is a guide to responsible behavior based on shared principles, and relies upon the employee's sense of reason, duty, and personal conscience to apply these ideals in everyday business practice.
If you have any questions about the Code of Conduct, would like advice about how to handle a situation or have a concern to report, please contact your manager, your HR business partner, a member of your legal team, your local ethics officer, or call the BAE Systems Helpline.
